SIH 2026
Your SIH 2026 idea PPT, in the official format.
The Smart India Hackathon 2026 idea template, rebuilt: the six-field title page, the SIH logo, your team name in the oval and the blue footer bar. devreport writes the six slides from your problem statement, notes and repo, and you upload the PDF.

A rebuild, not affiliated. devreport is not affiliated with Smart India Hackathon. The SIH 2026 theme copies the layout of the official idea template file; your round’s rules decide what you may upload.
The six slides of the 2026 idea template
Pick the SIH 2026 theme and the deck follows these, in this order. At most six slides, the title slide included.
| Slide | What the template asks for | What to give devreport |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Title page | Problem Statement ID and title, theme, PS category (software or hardware), team ID, team name as on the portal | These six, word for word, in your notes. It copies them and never guesses |
| 2. Your idea | Proposed solution: a detailed explanation, how it addresses the problem, innovation and uniqueness | The problem statement text and your idea notes |
| 3. Technical approach | Technologies (languages, frameworks, hardware) and the method: a flow chart, images or a working prototype | Your stack, a repo if you have one, a rough flow in words or a Mermaid diagram, screenshots |
| 4. Feasibility and viability | Whether it can work, the challenges and risks, and how you would overcome them | The real risks you see; it won’t make them up |
| 5. Impact and benefits | The impact on the target audience; social, economic and environmental benefits | Who it is for and any numbers you can source |
| 6. Research and references | Details and links of the research behind the idea | Your list of sources; it lists only those |
How to make it
- Pick the SIH 2026 theme. Start a new deck, choose Slides and the SIH 2026 theme; the six-slide SIH template comes with it.
- Give it your material. The problem statement, your idea notes with the six title-page details, and your repo or screenshots if you have them.
- Answer its questions. It asks for any title-page detail your notes don’t have, and what it needs to know about the idea.
- Check it and upload the PDF. Fix a word on the page yourself or ask for changes, check the IDs against the portal, then download the PDF.
Questions
Is this the official SIH 2026 template?
It is a rebuild of the official SIH 2026 idea presentation template: the same title page with its six fields, the SIH logo, the team-name oval, the bold titles and the blue footer bar, placed as the template file places them. devreport is not affiliated with Smart India Hackathon, AICTE or the Ministry of Education, and the result is a PDF, not the .pptx itself.
Can I upload the devreport PDF as my idea submission?
The 2026 template asks for the PPT to be uploaded as a PDF of at most six slides including the title slide, which is what you get. It also says to use the provided template without changing it, so if your college or round wants the .pptx itself, copy the text, diagrams and charts into it. Ask your college’s SPOC when in doubt.
What goes on the title page?
Problem Statement ID, Problem Statement Title, Theme, PS Category (Software or Hardware), Team ID and Team Name as registered on the portal. Put them in your notes word for word and it copies them; any you leave out it asks for, and if you skip that, the slide keeps the template’s blank for you to fill in on the page.
We only have an idea, no code yet. Does it still work?
Yes. A repo is optional. Upload the problem statement, your notes on the idea and any data or screenshots, and it writes the six slides from those. It won’t invent research, users or results you don’t give it.
Can I fix things myself before submitting?
Yes. Click any text on a slide to change it, move or resize charts and pictures, or ask for a change in plain words. Hand edits are free.
How long does it take?
Usually three to five minutes, a little longer for a big repo, plus the time you take to answer its questions.
What does it cost?
New accounts get 15 free credits. A deck costs 10 credits and each change you ask for afterwards costs 1; editing text on the page yourself and switching themes are free. A build that fails gives its credits back.
